What You’ll Be Doing
* Shape the Future of Data:
Collaborate with key enterprise clients to design robust, scalable architectures using the Lakehouse paradigm.
* Be a Trusted Advisor:
Partner with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to guide them through their data transformation journeys.
* Create Real Impact:
Deliver technical workshops, build reference architectures, and lead PoCs to showcase how Databricks unlocks value from data.
* Champion Open Source:
Advocate for technologies like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Koalas, helping clients innovate with cutting-edge tools.
* Support Sales Strategy:
Work hand-in-hand with Sales and Customer Success to drive adoption and grow accounts with tailored architectural guidance.
Your Background
* Client-Centric:
5+ years in pre-sales, consulting, or architecture roles working directly with enterprise customers.
* Technical Depth:
Strong hands-on experience in distributed data processing (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), ETL/warehousing (SQL, OLAP), and data science/ML tools (Pandas, scikit-learn, etc.).
* Developer at Heart:
Proficient in at least one core programming language (Python, Scala, Java, or R).
* Cloud Native:
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and how they integrate with modern data stacks.
* Bonus Points:
Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or similar quantitative discipline.
