Head of Operations Spain – Airbus Helicopters, Spain

Airbus Helicopters has created a new logistics organization in the Albacete region. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end logistics operations of Airbus Helicopters in Spain and for launching the Albacete Hub, a strategic pillar of the company’s growth.

• Accountable for all end‑to‑end logistics operations in Spain, continuously driving operational excellence and meeting internal and external customer needs.
• Drive performance monitoring, improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Develop team competence across the logistics function, including implementation of new processes and solutions.
• Manage primary Spanish logistics platforms in Albacete, Chinchilla and Almansa, driving operational efficiency across the regional supply chain.
• Direct Logistics Service Provider (LSP) relationships and performance, administering a €20 million annual logistics contract.
• Ensure uninterrupted service delivery and supply‑chain continuity for critical internal stakeholders, including Final Assembly Lines, Flight Lines, Centres of Excellence and Support & Services.
• Coordinate global distribution networks, overseeing worldwide shipments while ensuring on‑time delivery and international compliance.

• Strong experience in logistics and operations management.
• Leadership skills with people management experience.
• Team spirit, collaboration, global mindset, cultural agility, transparency, integrity, and autonomy.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (advanced level).
• Capacity to work across borders and with matrixed structures.
• Knowledge of Airbus Helicopters and ability to implement change and scale activities is desirable.
