The role partners closely with the bGeneral Counsel, all Directors of the various Legal areas (Corporate, Commercial, Litigation, Compliance, Internal Audit, GRC.., etc.) /b, and leaders across the broader Legal organization to build a cohesive, digitally‑enabled, future‑ready Legal team. This includes driving operational excellence, digitalisation, AI readiness, strong performance metrics, and a consistent internal brand. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppb1. Operational Excellence Business Performance /b /pulliOptimise processes, workflows, and SLAs to enable fast, reliable, and business‑centric Legal services. /liliDefine and monitor bKPIs linked to business impact /b, including cycle times, stakeholder satisfaction, volume dashboards, risk metrics, and value creation indicators. /liliCoordinate improvement plans with the bDirectors of each Legal area /b to ensure alignment and consistent delivery. /li /ulpbr/ppb2. Digitalisation Technology Enablement /b /pulliLead the bdigital transformation /b of the Legal department, identifying, implementing, and optimising LegalTech tools (e.g., CLM, e‑billing, matter management, automation). /liliEnsure strong adoption across all Legal sub‑teams, partnering with Directors to ensure the tools support their operational needs. /liliStrengthen digital literacy through training, guidelines, and best practices. /li /ulpbr/ppb3. AI Integration Future Capability Building /b /pulliChampion the bintegration of AI /b into daily Legal operations, such as document automation, contract review tools, and knowledge‑management AI assistants. /liliPartner with HR and IT to build AI readiness, upskilling plans, capability frameworks, and operating models for an AI‑human hybrid Legal function. /liliEstablish safe, ethical governance for AI usage across Legal. /li /ulpbr/ppb4. Financial, Vendor Resource Management /b /pulliManage Legal budgets, external counsel spend, and vendor evaluations, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and transparency. /liliWork closely with area Directors to anticipate resource needs, optimise workload distribution, and ensure proper coverage. /li /ulpbr/ppb5. Governance, Risk Compliance Operations /b /pulliMaintain and strengthen governance frameworks, operational controls, and compliance requirements. /liliSupport legal teams and their Directors in audits, policy updates, and risk‑mitigation plans. /li /ulpbr/ppb6. Talent, Skills Team Cohesion /b /pulliPartner with HR and the Legal Directors to develop capability frameworks, workforce planning, training, and development paths. /liliSupport onboarding, digital skills programmes, and AI‑related learning initiatives. /liliDrive initiatives that enhance culture, collaboration, engagement, and cross‑functional ways of working. /li /ulpbr/ppb7. Reporting, Data Insights /b /pulliDevelop dashboards and analytical reports on workload, trends, risk, KPIs, and progress vs. strategy. /liliPartner with Legal Directors to interpret insights and drive continuous improvement actions. /liliPresent consolidated insights to the General Counsel and leadership teams. /li /ulpbr/ppb8. Internal Brand Building Stakeholder Engagement /b /pulliPromote a strong, consistent binternal Legal brand /b positioning the function as a proactive, strategic business partner. /liliCoordinate communication, storytelling, and visibility initiatives for the Legal Directors and department. /liliEnhance collaboration with other corporate functions (Finance, IT, HR, Compliance, Risk, etc.) to reinforce Legal’s partnership role. /li /ulpbr/ppb9.
