At Despegar / HotelDO, we are a team of professionals committed to revolutionizing tourism through technology. We collaborate, innovate, and continuously generate new ideas to advance the tourism and technology sectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage client relationships and take full ownership of targets and sales strategies.
2. Act as a liaison between key customers and internal teams to meet account performance goals.
3. Negotiate agreements, contracts, overrides, SLAs, incentives, and marketing campaigns with partners.
4. Provide quantitative results, strategic insights, and a solid business understanding to partners.
5. Monitor strategies and initiatives, and conduct quarterly, monthly business reviews, conference calls, sales calls, and presentations.
6. Identify new revenue opportunities and develop business cases for prioritization.
7. Propose solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.
8. Create reports and business analyses to evaluate results and identify opportunities.
9. Be willing to travel quarterly for trade shows, conferences, or sales calls.
Reports to: Director of Sales.
Position requirements:
* Strong understanding of the travel industry, including wholesale, API/XML basics.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales.
* Excellent commercial, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
* Proven ability to use data analytically to inform strategy and decisions.
* Existing strong relationships with key partners such as bedbanks, OTAs, TOs, and TAs.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills.
* Ability to influence and drive action plans with clients and internal stakeholders at senior levels.
* Based in Spain with the ability to work from home.
