Description: Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via 2,000+ interfaces. We maintain critical mainframe functionalities and develop new solutions such as REST services, Angular frontends, Big Data, and GCP solutions. We focus on regulatory and tax topics related to partners/clients. We are seeking a GCP engineer to support our daily activities.
Your key responsibilities
1. Implement projects and maintain GCP environments (Spark, Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery, Terraform, etc.) throughout the SDLC.
2. Support the migration of existing functionalities to Google Cloud.
3. Ensure the stability of the application landscape and support software releases.
4. Assist in L3 support and application governance.
5. Code within an agile team using Java, Scala, Spring Boot in the CTM area.
Your skills and experience
1. Experience with databases (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, NoSQL, Hive, etc.) and development for Big Data and GCP technologies.
2. Strong understanding of Data Mesh approach and integration patterns.
3. Knowledge of Party data, integration with Product data, and big data architecture skills.
4. Proficiency in Spark, Java, Scala, Python, Maven, Artifactory, Hadoop Ecosystem, Github Actions, Terraform scripting.
5. Knowledge of customer reference data, customer onboarding processes, and regulatory topics like KYC.
6. Ability to work well in teams and independently, with a constructive and target-oriented mindset.
7. Good English communication skills, both professional and informal.
