We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team and lead the marketing efforts across multiple EU-funded projects in the field of Deep Tech. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns that amplify the impact of research and innovation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with a Project Manager and a Multimedia Designer assigned to each project.
The adecuado candidate combines a strong marketing background with a genuine passion for science communication and a keen interest in translating complex technological concepts into compelling narratives.
Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness and lead generation for EU-funded projects, primarily under the Horizon Europe framework.
Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns spanning email, social media, newsletters, and press outreach.
Conduct market research to identify target audiences, emerging trends, and opportunities for growth.
Produce high-quality marketing assets, including presentations, flyers, whitepapers, and case studies.
Manage project websites and social media channels, keeping content engaging, current, and aligned with each project's positioning.
Track marketing performance, analyze key metrics, and deliver regular campaign reports with actionable insights.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational marketing role.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with EU-funded projects, particularly Horizon Europe (essential).
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver confident presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
This is a full-time, fully remote freelance position based on a 5-day working week. The daily rate ranges from €200-240 (what equals to an estimated annual gross income of €46,000-55,000, depending on experience). Applications are open exclusively to candidates residing in Europe with the legal right to work on a freelance basis.
