Sourcing Manager for Technical Goods & Services

Responsibilities
- Sourcing: Lead all sourcing activities with external suppliers, communicate supply constraints, and support strategic initiatives in collaboration with Procurement Category Leads.
- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, create robust supply agreements, and leverage market intelligence to mitigate risks and drive competitive advantage.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, set joint targets, and provide procurement expertise.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in science or engineering
- Experience: Several years of experience in Capital Expenditure project sourcing (engineering, equipment), ideally in the Life Sciences industry
- Technical Skills: Ideally experience in procurement systems (e.g., Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Languages: Excellent proficiency in English; other languages are an advantage such as German
