EU - Spain : Marketing Manager
About the role :
STERRY Limited is seeking a Marketing Manager focusing on Europe (particularly Germany, France, Spain, and Italy) in a remote setup. The role requires key qualifications and skills to successfully manage diverse markets and work across various cultures.
Qualifications :
1. Educational Background
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree in International Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business Administration is advantageous.
1. Experience
Proven experience in marketing management within a digital marketing agency environment, especially in international markets such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, or Europe. Experience working in remote or distributed teams and managing multi-channel, multi-market campaigns is essential.
1. Language Skills
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian is highly beneficial, depending on the target region. Understanding local marketing and consumer trends in these countries is a plus.
1. Technical & Digital Marketing Skills
Expertise in digital marketing strategies and tools such as SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and influencer marketing. Experience with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms is also required.
1. Cultural Understanding
Deep understanding of consumer behavior in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, with the ability to tailor strategies to each market's culture. Knowledge of GDPR and local advertising standards is necessary.
1. Leadership & Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with leadership qualities to manage and mentor remote teams. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
1. Strategy & Analytical Skills
Ability to design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals, interpret data for campaign optimization, and manage budgets effectively.
1. Adaptability & Flexibility
Willingness to work across different time zones, adapt to a dynamic environment, and pivot strategies as needed.
1. Client Relationship Management
Skills in building and maintaining client relationships, providing strategic advice, and delivering clear reports.
1. Tools and Platforms Proficiency
Familiarity with CRM and ad management platforms, along with relevant certifications such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, PPC, or SEO certifications, are valuable.
Soft Skills :
* Problem-solving, time management, self-discipline, proactive mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Other Qualifications :
* Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and B2B/ABM strategies, with a network of local partners or influencers being a plus.
