We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic specialist **teacher of Mathematics**, for December 2024 or as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be able to teach Mathematics at **Y7 to Y10** IGCSE. We are looking for someone to join an experienced and successful secondary team who has a passion for developing high quality teaching and learning which ensures excellent student progress and engagement.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- A first degree in Mathematics or similar.
- A P.G.C.E. or equivalent UK Teacher Education qualification, or Spanish teaching qualification.
- Proficient level of English (Mother tongue / C2 / C1).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure planning, preparation, assessment, and reporting meet students' diverse needs.
- Plan engaging, challenging lessons for consistent progress.
- Address all students' needs, including Special Educational Needs, with appropriate interventions.
- Maintain efficient records, integrating assessments per school policy.
- Adhere to department policies on curriculum, feedback, behavior, and resources.
- Maintain good order and discipline in line with the school's behaviour policy, inside and outside the classroom.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents.
- Participate in school meetings and comply with all relevant policies.
- Ensure student safety and wellbeing.
