About the job

As a Mechanical Separation Sales Engineer at Alfa Laval Iberia, you’ll play an important role in accelerating our Energy Division’s growth. You’ll collaborate with distributors, agents, contractors, system builders and end users to expand our reach and impact. Your work will help develop new markets and business opportunities, especially for High Speed Separators and Decanters, while increasing flexibility in separation applications and enlarging our distribution network.

You will be reporting to current Energy Process Sales Manager (BU WCT + BU GPHE Process).


Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing new markets and business opportunities for HSS, Modules and Decanter applications. Specific areas to cover are Industrial Waste Plants, Lube Oil cleaning and Coolants cleaning and Slop Oils.
2. Expanding and strengthening our distribution network
3. Increasing flexibility, knowledge and coverage in Separation applications and Technologies
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, agents, and key customers
5. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth
6. Contributing to a more sustainable future through engineering innovation

What You Know

7. Degree in Industrial Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or similar
8. 5 years’ experience with centrifugal Separation equipment (HSS and decanters)
9. Solid commercial orientation and proven track record in generating profitable business results
10. Eability to work in team, and to handle complex and challenging projects.
11. Fluent in Spanish and English
12. Resident in the Madrid area
