The Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca is situated on a cliff, surrounded by pine forests overlooking Port Soller. It features 121 spacious rooms with views of the sea and mountains, two restaurants, four bars, two pools, and a Talise Spa. The hotel’s architecture emphasizes harmony with its natural surroundings.
About the Role: We are seeking a Cost Controller to join our Finance Department at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa. The main responsibilities include:
* Checking that goods are received as per specifications and documented correctly.
* Ensuring inventory accuracy in the computer system.
* Monitoring goods issued and received, maintaining proper documentation.
* Verifying that issues do not exceed requests and that stock levels are appropriate.
* Maintaining recipes for menu items and preparing daily and monthly cost reports.
* Reconciliation of stock rooms and adherence to policies and procedures.
Other Duties: Punctuality, professional service, staff training, cost control, compliance with health and safety regulations, flexibility in duties, and departmental support as needed.
About You:
* At least 2 years of professional training in Tourism.
* Experience with Opera, Micros, and SUN Oracle is advantageous.
* Minimum 1 year in a similar hotel industry role.
* Attention to detail, analytical skills, quick learner, proficient in Excel.
