brGalenicum SAG team is hiring a Sourcing Manager. He/she will be a key player in leading the Sourcing Team of our Manufacturing Plant in San Agustin de Guadalix and identifying sourcing strategies for Finished Products, APIs/Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Indirect Materials, ensuring uninterrupted supply to our manufacturing site.

brWhat you'll be rocking:
br
brLead and manage the Sourcing team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and continuous performance improvement.
brDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for Finished Products, API/Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Indirect Materials, ensuring uninterrupted supply to manufacturing and contract sites.
brDevelop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key strategic suppliers and CDMO partners, monitoring performance against KPIs (Quality, Delivery, Cost).
brLead complex, annual commercial negotiations for all assigned spend categories, including pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs), to deliver measurable cost savings and value.
brDrive cost optimization, process improvement, and supplier performance initiatives within the supply chain.
brOversee and monitor supplier performance, including production and delivery schedules, shipment timelines, and quality compliance.
brManage forecasting, ordering, inventory optimization, and write-offs, ensuring stock levels are aligned with business needs.
brAct as the primary escalation point for critical operational supply issues (e.g., shortages, quality deviations, delayed deliveries) to ensure rapid resolution and minimal production disruption.
brOversee purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability, ensuring accurate ERP data and timely system updates.
brCollaborate with customs and import/export processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely clearance of goods.
brSupport GMP/GDP audits and inspections, ensuring documentation and processes are compliant and audit-ready.
brProvide leadership and coaching to the team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

brWhat you bring to the table:
br
brMinimum 10 years professional experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in the areas of Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement or other operational roles with at least 5 years in the Strategic Sourcing roles within a dynamic environment.
brStrong understanding of pharmaceutical raw materials, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements (GMP, regulatory)
brStrong knowledge of GMP GDP regulations and their application to sourcing and procurement processes.
brDemonstrated experience managing CDMO/CMO relationships and finished product sourcing is mandatory.
brProven track record in supplier negotiation and vendor management.

brEducational milestone:
br
brUniversity degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
brMaster’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Organization highly valued.
brAdditional training in Negotiations, International Commerce or Procurement will be highly appreciated.
brERP proficient, ideally in modules related to production, procurement, logistics, or customer service.
brExcellent computer skills, especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
brFluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken (C1 level minimum).

brExperience in CDMO management, vendor management inventory and continuous Replenishment Program.
