For commercial opportunities identified in the Italian and Spanish markets, the Senior Sales Manager leads prospecting and pre-sales activities in collaboration with the presales team. They develop strategies and proposals tailored to client needs across a portfolio of identified and strategic prospect accounts.
They manage the entire sales cycle through to deal closure, in line with Splio’s commercial policy and commitment to long-term, trust-based client relationships.
Specific Responsibilities
- Implement prospecting actions to meet sales targets
- Develop and propose a commercial prospecting plan
- Identify new business opportunities
- Adapt prospecting methods to identified opportunities
- Maintain sales reporting and client information in the CRM tool
- Handle inbound leads assigned to them
- Drive sales on new accounts
- Qualify client needs and involve Pre-Sales & Project Management teams depending on the project scope
- Act as a storyteller for Splio products, conduct demos aligned with client expectations
- Build sales strategy and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams
- Draft contracts in coordination with the Legal Manager
- Lead negotiations and close deals
- Coordinate project launch with internal teams and the client
- Ensure account onboarding plan
- Organize kick-off meetings with the client and the Customer Success Manager
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Sales Manager in selling marketing software solutions (Marketing Automation, Loyalty, ESP, etc.)
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and diplomacy skills
- Expertise in product marketing within long sales cycles
- Proven experience in B2B product sales
- Skilled in sales techniques focused on new client acquisition (hunting)
- Ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales
- Knowledge of e-commerce, direct marketing, and retail practices
- Tenacious and dynamic in organization
- Demonstrates learning agility and market awareness
- Capable of rallying teams around a results-oriented project
- Able to work independently while meeting set objectives
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Italian is required
- Versátil in terms of business trip
