How to contribute to our vision
- Establish an SGRE wide Global Supply Chain and Logistics Network for inbound transportation services (Standard - Sea-, Air-, Ground-, KEP- transportation).
- High-frequency sharing of best practices; establishment of formalized center of competence (i.e., demand management, suppliers/ service provider management, make/buy decisions).
- Development of the program strategy & standards, tactically coaching cross business teams to deliver.
- Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple business units.
- Drive continuous improvement projects, from idea generation to implementation, with a global community of experts.
- Maximize pooling of freight/transportation & global demand management.
- Boost reduction of spend costs in your area of responsibility.
- Oversee gaps between teams, processes, and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes
- Coordination of global cross-BU Logistics service provider activities.
- Define & drive worldwide implementation of standards with logistics service providers.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- Experience: 8 years of experience
- Ability to drive change with high complexity in a challenging environment.
- Self-driven and solution-oriented mindset with a clear focus on implementation.
- Deep knowledge in designing logistics strategies, concepts, and processes.
- Deep knowledge in inbound standard transportation work environment.
- Track record to promote and successfully drive implementation of companywide logistics standards that lead to tangible benefits.
- Profound experience in large scale project and manufacturing business.
- Fluent English is required, Spanish and German knowledge are a clear plus.
