Your Role

The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee and elevate culinary operations in Sinaia. This role focuses on supporting project execution, driving consistency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. The Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in establishing workflows, mentoring teams, and maintaining operational excellence as new concepts and processes are implemented.


Your Journey

* Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen and stewarding teams across multiple properties.
* Act as the deputy for the Executive Chef in their absence, ensuring smooth operations and decision‑making continuity.
* Foster a collaborative environment by coordinating with kitchen teams to implement standardized processes and procedures.
* Conduct regular audits to monitor adherence to HACCP standards and company guidelines.
* Mentor junior staff to develop culinary skills, uphold kitchen standards, and promote team engagement.
* Collaborate with the Regional Executive Chef to roll out new concepts, seasonal menus, and operational improvements.
* Ensure the readiness of kitchen facilities and teams for the launch of new F&B initiatives.
* Conduct site inspections to confirm compliance with project timelines, operational standards, and quality benchmarks.
* Support the creation and execution of innovative menus that align with the company’s vision and customer preferences.
* Oversee daily food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality across properties.
* Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness across all kitchens. Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend solutions to improve kitchen efficiency, minimize food waste, and optimize energy use.
* Work with the Regional Executive Chef to manage food costs, portion controls, and inventory levels effectively.
* Assist in sourcing sustainable and local ingredients in line with company policies.
* Ensure all food produced meets the company’s high standards for taste, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with front‑of‑house teams to address guest feedback and improve the culinary experience.


What Do You Bring To Your Trip

* Proven experience as a Sous Chef, multi‑unit operations (hotels, restaurants, or similar).
* Strong technical skills in culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management.
* Familiarity with modern culinary trends and menu development processes.
* Experience in supporting new project roll outs, including pre‑opening and post‑launch phases.
* Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP and other food safety standards.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in dynamic environments.
* Collaborative and supportive, with strong interpersonal skills.
* Proactive problem solver with a focus on achieving results. Adaptable and resilient under pressure, thriving in fast‑paced settings.
* Passionate about culinary excellence, innovation, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
* A commitment to sustainability and process optimization.
