This time, we are collaborating with a globally recognized leader in FMCG focused on retail strategy, renowned for its cutting‑edge products and commitment to excellence. With a strong presence in over 10 countries and decades of expertise, our client specializes in providing advanced products. Their products play a critical role in driving progress in improving personal care, with proven scientific studies.
We are seeking a driven professional as the Managing Director to lead their business and team in Spain expanding the retail strategy. The MD is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire P&L with 8 direct reports. This role, reporting to the General CEO, has direct responsibility for the Sales, Marketing, Finance, I+D, Logistics team. The objective of the role is to ensure the retail strategy, service level excellence, inventory optimization, production alignment, and cost‑efficient logistics operations while supporting the company’s growth and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Spanish affiliate focused on retail strategy.
Implement and manage robust processes in collaboration with International.
Drive the expansion.
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning reliability.
Translate commercial forecasts into actionable plans.
Implement best practices in business development.
Negotiate and manage relationships with top clients.
Identify automation and digitalization opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a major in business or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in the Retail industry, working for multinational companies, with a role as BU lead, strong business mentality, and people leadership approach.
Work experience in European Matrix environments is required.
Excellent skills in team building and development.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
