At MCI, we’re accelerating our digital transformation and are looking for a Group AI Team Leader to drive the creation and adoption of AI agents across our global organisation (MCI-Group). Based in Barcelona, you’ll play a strategic role in shaping the future of how our teams work with AI.
🚀 What will be your Responsibilities:
* Lead operationally the development and deployment of AI agents and solutions
* Guide and shape AI projects, working closely with business leaders, vendors, and third-party providers
* Design and review AI architectures and workflows
* Act as Business Analyst and Project Manager for AI initiatives, ensuring timely and quality delivery
* Ensure compliance with relevant security and data protection standards (e.g., ISO 27001, 27701, GDPR)
* Report directly to the Group Digital Transformation Manager
* Collaborate closely with the Global Digital Empowerment Team, Global Infrastructure, Security & Workplace, and our CIO
* Lead and mentor a team of two AI Developers

🎓 What We’re Looking For
* You bring at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in project management or business analysis within IT/AI
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Proven track record in leading digital transformation or AI projects
* Experience in team management
* Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking and writing); French is a strong asset
* Proficiency with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and OpenAI API
* Strong organisational, communication, and facilitation skills
* Self-starter with excellent work ethics and ability to interact at all levels
* Good knowledge of AI agent development and cloud platforms
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
* ITIL certification is a plus
