**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead delivery of internal and outsourced projects from initiation to operations transition
- Monitor execution, establish governance, and manage risks and issues effectively
- Ensure optimal use of resources and project management tools and practices
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
- Support enterprise IT portfolio management through standards, training, and analytics
- Provide transparent reporting and ensure complete project documentation
- Own project status, risks, and issues, reporting to governance bodies with clear actions
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory policies within project scope
- Collaborate across teams, domains, and strategic suppliers to ensure project success
- Support strategic planning and drive implementation with senior leadership
**Essential Requirements**:
- University degree in informatics, computer science, business, or equivalent professional experience
- Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, Waterfall /Scrum, or PRINCE2 is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project interdependencies
- Experience working in regulated environments with strong focus on quality and compliance
- Familiarity with clinical development systems, processes, and tools is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project conditions
- Experience with internal budgeting, planning, and project tracking tools used at Novartis
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Experience delivering GxP-compliant solutions within clinical IT and operational technology environments
- Knowledge of finance tools for budgeting, planning, and execution tracking.
