What You'll Do
The primary purpose of the Solution Sales Executive is to achieve their overall revenue goal. In order to do this, the Solution Sales Executive must create a territory business plan that generates at least 4x their quota in pipeline opportunity. They are responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing, and driving strategy. The Senior Sales Executive will develop an opportunity plan with the value proposition for SAP's targeted solutions and services in that territory.
Demand Generation, Pipeline, And Opportunity Management
* Drive solution-specific sales motions, bringing domain expertise to solve customer business challenges.
* Develop and execute territory plans, ensuring a healthy pipeline and advancing the sales funnel.
* Leverage internal resources, including marketing and business development, to drive demand and manage opportunities.
* Work with external partners on joint sales campaigns.
* Scout the market for potential compelling events affecting prospective customers (e.g., acquisitions, funding rounds, new regulations).
Sales Excellence
* Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
* Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information within CRM systems.
* Coordinate and deploy internal teams and manage execution with partners to ensure successful sales outcomes.
What You Bring
* +3 years of experience in sales of business software/IT solutions.
* Proven success in business application software sales and team-selling environments.
* Ability to handle transactions and long sales campaigns in a competitive market.
* Strong negotiation skills and experience with renewals, expansions, and up-sells of subscription solutions.
* Experience in selling Enterprise Architecture or BPM software is a plus.
* Fluent in Business English; additional languages are an advantage.
