The Quality Officer is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality management within the organization. This position ensures that product and service quality standards of Scrubbed are established, implemented, and maintained across all lines. The Officer develops and executes quality strategies and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards. Provides guidance and leadership to quality, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, and plays a key role in shaping the organization's quality culture.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the organization's quality assurance strategy, in alignment with the overall business objectives and goals.
* Establish and maintain robust quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
* Drive the development and implementation of quality metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators to monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality processes and initiatives.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the operations service teams, fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends related to quality management, and proactively recommend improvements or changes as needed.
* Oversee the identification and implementation of appropriate quality tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance quality control processes and drive operational efficiencies.
* Conduct periodic audits and assessments of quality systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with Scrubbed quality standards.
* Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for quality-related issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to address identified gaps or non-conformities.
* Collaborate and check in with compliance and risk team to manage quality-related risks.
* Champion a culture of quality awareness, employee engagement, and continuous improvement, promoting the importance of quality throughout the organization.
* Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and performance updates to the Chief Operating Officer, highlighting areas of strength, improvement opportunities, and action plans.
* Assist the Chief Operating Officer in the development and assessment of Scrubbed’s new products and services.
* Lead in Scrubbed strategic plans on quality including, but not limited to, obtaining and maintaining global certifications on quality
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, quality management, or a related discipline. A master's degree or additional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Quality Management Systems) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience (typically 8+ years ) in quality assurance or quality management roles, preferably in a related industry.
* Experience in leading an organization to obtain global certification is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools, such as ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in leading and managing teams, including setting strategic direction, coaching, and developing talent.
* In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the industry, along with experience in managing regulatory compliance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable plans.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and achieving quality.
