Why we need this role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the role will lead the enterprise wide delivery of the People & Culture (P&C;) roadmap, taking P&C; products (programs, policies, platforms, processes) to market across the complex global matrix business. Own how initiatives planned, sequenced, bundled and launched so they land seamlessly with the business. Build a flexible, matrixed resourcing model capable of delivering large, global programs that may roll out in different phases or flavours across functions and geographies. Elevate our overall P&C; impact, quality, adoption, time-to-benefit and return on investment.
What You Will Do
Own the integrated P&C; portfolio and implementation plan; bundle related initiatives and manage interdependencies so cyclical global solutions and changes land coherently.
Build project management and change management capabilities that are prioritised and deployed to support the build, implementation and embedding of new global solutions.
Lead the P&C; PMO; standardise intake, prioritisation, delivery, adoption tracking, and benefits realisation.
P&C; product marketing, communications & stakeholder engagement: Create go-to-market plans for P&C; products and orchestrate communications across P&C; and Corporate Comms.
Measurement & continuous improvement: Define and track KPIs and build a reusable playbook library.
Key Interfaces & Relationships
CPO & P&C; Leadership Team – priorities, sponsorship and governance
Centres of Excellence, P&C; Directors (function and country) & People Services – product design → launch → transition to embed/run
Wider P&C; function – clarifying delivery accountabilities, roles and building readiness across all activities
Regional & Functional Leaders – ensuring local relevance on and phasing
Corporate Communications – building a single P&C; strategic narrative that coherently aligns cyclical and change implementation
First 12 Months Deliverables
Ensure effective delivery of inflight initiatives alongside standing up the new team effectively.
Scope and design the Delivery model and structure and implement, ensure roles, responsiblities and handoffs are clear with other parts of the function.
Manage transition of delivery work into the function
Integrated P&C; roadmap published and socialised; bundles/releases clearly sequenced.
Build project management and change management capability and methodology for deploying to key priorities
Adoption and success measures in place for change
Teams established, cross-skilled and efficiencies identified.
Playbook library created; ≥3 major launches closed with documented lessons and reusable artefacts.
What We're Looking For
Significant experience leading global P&C; portfolios and / or transformation in complex, matrixed organisations.
Built/led P&C; PMO or enterprise PMO; experienced in building capability, understands what good looks like in terms of things like stage-gate and agile delivery.
Either has deep change management capability (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) or can meaningfully demonstrate understanding / adjacent working and demonstrate how to upskill team / function with measurable adoption outcomes.
Proven go-to-market expertise for internal products/services (value proposition, segmented comms, enablement).
Exceptional influence and communication skills at ELT/senior leadership level; simplifies complexity to drive decisions. Track record of building and leading multi-disciplinary teams; adept at flexible resourcing and vendor management.
Can demonstrate how impact of People initiatives can be assessed / optimised for impact and return on investment
Might Haves
