EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER Location: Central Madrid Reports to: General Manager About the Role We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operation of a flagship hotel in the heart of Madrid, recently renovated and belonging to one of the top hotel groups worldwide. With over 300 rooms, state-of-the-art facilities, and several exclusive services, this is a property that sets the standard for excellence in hospitality. You’ll lead a passionate team of 40+ housekeeping professionals, ensuring that every guest space — from rooms to public areas — reflects the hotel’s world-class quality and comfort. What You’ll Be Doing Lead & Elevate the Team Inspire, train, and develop a high-performing housekeeping team. Oversee recruitment, scheduling, performance reviews, and daily supervision. Promote a culture of accountability, pride, and excellence. Deliver Outstanding Guest Experience Ensure all rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any quality issues proactively. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Operational & Strategic Leadership Align the housekeeping strategy with the hotel’s overall vision and objectives. Manage inventory, supplies, and cost control efficiently. Drive innovation in housekeeping procedures to enhance sustainability and efficiency. What You Bring Proven experience in a similar leadership role in upscale or large-format hotels (ideally 4- or 5-star properties). A hands-on, lead-by-example mindset with strong people management skills. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (spoken and written). Ability to prioritize, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic, high-standard environment. A deep understanding of housekeeping best practices and guest-first service.
