How do platforms, APIs, and web applications communicate seamlessly every day?
At Vertigo Media, we build and maintain digital systems that connect tools, automate processes, and support high-performance marketing campaigns across multiple European markets.
We are looking for a Software Development Intern who wants to strengthen their technical skills while working on real-world projects involving backend development, API integrations, and web technologies.
This is a hands-on internship where you’ll collaborate with experienced developers, contribute to ongoing projects, and progressively take ownership of technical tasks.
🚀 What you’ll do
- Support the development and maintenance of internal web applications
- Work with PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Participate in integrations with third-party APIs and external services
- Handle REST API requests, authentication systems, and JSON data
- Collaborate on database management using PostgreSQL
- Work in Linux environments using terminal commands and system configuration
- Contribute to debugging, optimization, and implementation of new functionalities
- You won’t just observe — you’ll actively contribute to real development projects.

🔍 Who we’re looking for
You are fluent in Spanish and English
You have work permit to work in Spain.
You have knowledge of:
- PHP
- Symfony
- JavaScript / jQuery
- PostgreSQL
- Apache
- Linux environments and terminal usage
- You understand REST APIs, HTTP requests, JSON handling, and authentication systems
- You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- You enjoy solving technical problems and improving your skills
- You have good attention to detail and autonomy

You’re motivated to grow technically and gain real experience in a professional development environment.

- Knowledge of Git version control
- Experience with Docker
