EU Business School is seeking a creative and outgoing Community Manager with a high proficiency in English to join its dynamic international communications team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will report to the Digital Content and Social Media Manager and will be passionate about social media, aiming to elevate EU's social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
The role involves daily posting, engaging with followers, and managing interactions across all EU social channels. All content must be in English (C1, C2, or native level). The Community Manager will collaborate with the team to develop an engaging and diverse social media calendar tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Proficiency in social media analytics is essential for tracking performance and strategizing growth. The candidate should enjoy visual content creation, including design, photography, and copywriting, and will work closely with video, design, and photography team members to produce visual content.
This role also includes working with EU students to onboard influencers, support events, and engage with a multicultural audience. Willingness to travel and attend events outside regular hours is required. The position is on-site in Barcelona.
Responsibilities
1. Create, publish, and share news about EU activities across all social media channels.
2. Develop and manage the social media calendar in collaboration with the Digital Content and Social Media Manager.
3. Monitor and analyze social media metrics; propose strategies for engagement and growth.
4. Respond to messages and interact daily with followers.
5. Produce engaging copy in English.
6. Engage with influencers and student ambassadors to increase reach and brand awareness.
7. Stay updated on social media trends and proactively suggest innovative content ideas.
8. Attend events to provide real-time social media coverage, with potential travel requirements.
Requirements
* Passion for social media.
* Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, social media, or related field.
* At least two years of experience in community or social media management.
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter.
* Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite.
* Ability to analyze and report on social media metrics.
* Excellent English writing skills (C1/C2 or native).
* Design and video editing skills for content creation.
