Financial Decisions and Analysis (FDnA) is a diverse team within the Deals department at PwC, comprising three areas: CFO Office, Deal Analytics, and Working Capital Management.
Our focus is to assist recently acquired companies in transitioning smoothly to their new shareholders' information needs.
Our main clients include Private Equity funds, and we concentrate on critical finance functions such as board reporting, treasury, forecasting, working capital management, and budgeting & business planning.
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Associate to join our FDnA team.
The Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting both internal (PwC) and external (Private Equity and client) teams.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Development of financial and analytical reporting tools (financial statements, working capital analysis, KPIs, customer & product analysis, etc.).
Design and implementation of the budgeting process (cost centers, definition, accounting plans, PMO, etc.).
Business plan modeling under different scenarios and sensitivities, including presentation to company stakeholders.
Development of advanced analytical studies.
Development of cash forecasting tools, treasury monitoring, and projection (13-week cash flow).
Analysis and recommendations to improve the Working Capital function (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Forecast to Fulfill).
Acting on an interim basis (interim CFO, deputy CFO, etc.).
Assisting in the control takeover and integration of the finance functions of recently acquired companies.
Presentation of project results and conclusions.
Skills and Qualifications
University and/or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
At least 2-3 years of experience in Transaction Services, Due Diligence, M&A, Strategy, Financial Audit, or in a Financial Department.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Team player and resolutive.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Spanish and English.
Experience with data science tools (Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Python, Alteryx, R, etc.)
is a plus.
