Donkey Republic is looking for an experiencedCity Managerto lead our operations in Spain. This position is essential to the continued success and growth of our services in the country, with a focus on managing daily operations, optimizing performance, and driving the company’s objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bicycle repair and fluency in English, alongside excellent management and operational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAs theCity Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited:Team Leadership:Lead the operational team, assigning tasks, managing schedules, and resolving workplace issues to maintain team motivation and high performance.
Operational Control and Performance:Monitor KPIs on a daily basis, taking corrective actions as needed to ensure that operational goals are met. Analyze data to improve efficiency and profitability.
Customer Experience and Quality Control:Ensure bikes and rental stations meet the company’s quality standards. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure bike availability and proper working conditions.
Workplace Compliance:Ensure the company’s physical workspaces comply with all local laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
Liaison with HQ:Serve as the main point of contact for HQ, ensuring alignment on operational improvements and city-specific strategies.
Payroll and Financial Management:Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payments in compliance with regulations. Manage operational expenses to maintain budget efficiency and resource optimization.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in city operations management, preferably in the mobility or transportation sector.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Ability to analyze operational data and implement data-driven improvements.
In-depth understanding of local regulations and compliance.
Knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance.
