Pb Key Mission: /b /pulli Support the Chief Legal Officer in the oversight and coordination of material legal matters across the portfolio. /lili Drive consistent legal risk assessment, escalation and executive-level reporting across the organisation. /li /ul pb Main Accountabilities: /b /pulli Identify, assess and proactively support managing legal and contractual risks, proposing practical and commercially sound mitigation strategies and escalations where appropriate. /lili Support in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex transactional and project documentation; analyse and advise on complex legal issues arising across the business. /lili Support in managing claims and contentious matters, where relevant, including coordinating dispute strategy with internal stakeholders and external counsel. /lili Coordinate and efficiently manage external counsel, with a strong focus on quality, responsiveness and cost control. /lili Monitor legal and regulatory developments, share knowledge and best practices and contribute to internal training where appropriate. /lili Ensure compliance with Ocean Winds’ internal policies and applicable laws, fostering a strong culture of ethics and compliance in coordination with the OW Compliance team. /lili Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes, operational efficiency and executive decision-making, including clear, structured reporting where needed. /li /ul pb Academic Background: /b /pulli Law bachelor’s degree; fully qualified lawyer. /lili Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is a plus. /li /ul pb Languages: /b /pulli Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. /lili Any further language is a plus. /li /ul pb Professional Experience: /b /pulli Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience as legal counsel exercise within an international company and/or top-tier law firm environment. /lili Strong experience advising on renewable energy projects is required; exposure to offshore wind is a plus. /lili Experience drafting and negotiating complex transactional and project documentation; exposure to EPCs, MA, construction litigation, energy management and/or project finance is a plus. /lili Comfort working across multiple areas of business law (commercial, construction, MA, corporate governance, contentious matters and/or regulatory topics), beyond a single specialisation. /li /ul pb Skills: /b /pulli Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset. /lili Ability to identify legal and contractual risks and propose practical mitigation strategies in a fast-moving environment. /lili Proven capability to manage multiple matters and priorities simultaneously, with autonomy, ownership and sound judgment. /lili High ethical standards, integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially. /lili Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complexity into actionable advice and reporting. /lili Comfortable working in a dynamic, international and multicultural environment, with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. /li /ul pb Other Requirements /b /pulli Based in Madrid (international scope).
