Overview
Manufacturing Quality Engineer role at Schneider Electric. This position is a 1-year temporary project.
Scope
* The Quality Excellence of the Offers delivered to the customers
* The Quality Excellence of Supply Chain (from Supplier to Customers)
* The timely and effectively management of customer containment actions (Business Risk Escalation, Offer Safety Alerts, Cyber Security, etc.)
* The Prevention actions to avoid recurrent issues
Main activities / Responsibilities
In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors:
* Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
* Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode
* Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs
* Create and maintain quality control documentation, insure related training and application in the sector
* Lead continuous improvement on its perimeter
* Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issues and problem solving on the sector
* Be a member of the Short Interval Management (SIM) of the production lines
* Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution (PMP and Optimize Process (ex-PEP)), contribute to process/control capability implementation
* Be the local expert of the assembled products in the sector
Your profile / Qualifications
* Engineer (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical...)
* Experienced in Process Quality (1-3 years)
* Ability to be customer facing with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented and results driven
* Ability to communicate (written, verbal) clearly in concise and synthetic manner on complex technical strategy. Very good communication skills within a multi-cultural environment
* Ability to convince stakeholders on the proper project technical strategy
* English fluency is a must. Another language is a plus.
