We are currently looking for a Tax Analyst to join our team.
Mission:
As a Tax Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and preparing more complex tax records and filings, while providing valuable insights into tax compliance and strategies. This position builds upon foundational knowledge, enabling you to assist in special projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's tax obligations are met efficiently and accurately.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and file intermediate-level tax returns and documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive and updated tax records.
- Help implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for tax filings.
- Review and ensure accuracy in tax calculations and submissions.
- Conduct research on current tax laws and regulations.
- Respond to more complex tax inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present routine tax reports for management.
- Identify and address discrepancies in tax documentation.
- Accounting: bookkeeping, reporting, annual accounts, familiarity with auditory processes, IFRS.

- Intermediate Tax Knowledge: Deeper understanding of tax principles and regulations.
- Tax Software Proficiency: Competence in using tax preparation software.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze tax data and identify trends.

- Advanced Research Skills: More adept at researching and interpreting tax code.
- Problem-Solving: Identifies and resolves tax issues effectively.
- Detailed Reporting: Ability to generate detailed tax reports.
- Intermediate Accounting knowledge (Spanish local GAAP, IFRS).
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax and in accounting.
- Consultancy background would be a plus.
