We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, working on developing solutions to automate medical procedures and improve patient care through cloud-based healthcare interoperability solutions. You will work in an agile environment, designing and executing automated tests for healthcare systems integration, API testing, performance testing, and more. Collaborating closely with developers, architects, and analysts, you will ensure the quality and efficiency of our cloud services connecting IoT devices and hospital information systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing and executing automated test cases for healthcare data exchange and interoperability.
* Utilizing data simulators and testing tools like Postman, REST-Assured, SOAPUI, and Playwright.
* Conducting performance and scalability testing of cloud services.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges.
* Managing test documentation, reports, and defect tracking.
* Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub.
* Setting up test environments for IoT-connected cloud services.
* Reviewing requirements for testability and suggesting improvements.
Qualifications and skills:
* Experience in automating API and GUI tests, especially for cloud-based healthcare data.
* Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks like Postman, REST-Assured, SOAPUI, Playwright, and Allure Reports.
* Knowledge of cloud solutions, preferably Azure, and CI/CD processes.
* Strong understanding of software testing levels, types, and techniques.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Proactive, results-oriented, and a team player with a passion for technology and healthcare innovation.
