About Aurora Somatics
Aurora Somatics creates therapeutic visual experiences for healthcare environments designed to gently regulate the nervous system. We are a small, mission-driven project with real clients, real revenue, and a deep belief that the environment of care is part of the care itself.
The role The Somatic AI Filmmaker works directly with Inés Borrás, founder and Creative Director of Aurora Somatics, to bring the visual world of Aurora to life. This is a true creative collaboration. The Somatic AI Filmmaker uses AI film tools to translate the vision into moving, breathing, therapeutic experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Creative Director to translate the Aurora visual direction into high-quality AI-generated film experiences
- Generate, refine, and curate looping somatic videos across multiple thematic collections, each calibrated to specific emotional and physiological states
- Bring technical mastery of AI film tools to the creative process
- Research and apply emerging AI motion and video tools to continuously raise the quality and range of Aurora's visual library
- Participate in the conceptual development of new collections and the evolution of Aurora's creative identity
- Contribute to product and business decisions as a co-founding partner
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience creating high-quality video or motion content using AI tools such as Kling, Sora, or similar
- A portfolio that shows not just technical output but ability to create emotional resonnance and cinematic sensibility
- A natural collaborator
- Deep personal commitment to human wellbeing, mental health, or the healing arts
- Strong aesthetic judgment and the ability to work with intentionality and care, not just speed
- Experience with slow, meditative, or nature-based visual aesthetics is a strong plus
- Background in somatic practices, nervous system science, or therapeutic environments is welcome but not required
