We are seeking highly qualified engineers in Power Electronics, Grid Integration, and Research and Development (R&D) to join us in this exciting opportunity.
How You'll Make An Impact
Undertake various simulation studies individually or as part of a team on a daily basis.
Prepare reports from studies and present findings to customers.
Understand customer needs by reviewing specifications and participating in meetings.
Coordinate and communicate with all disciplines involved in project and tender deliveries, and maintain close connection with research and development activities.
Demonstrate a strong ambition for learning and sharing critical power system knowledge.
Maintain frequent contact with other engineering disciplines, project managers, customers, and Hitachi Energy units in an international environment.
Work independently and in a team, assuming responsibility for assigned tasks as a key to success.
Your Background
Hold an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Have experience in power systems analysis.
Preferred familiarity with programs and tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, EMTP‐RV, etc.
Merit if you have prior tender experience, including cost estimation, coordination with sales, and understanding customer specifications.
Fluent communication in English is essential for our international environment.
Willingness to travel: Required up to 10%.
