What you will do:
The Roles, Key Responsibilities, and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Java Software Engineer in the Customer eXperience team, you will be responsible for:
* Working with a top-notch tech stack including Java 17, BigData, Kafka, Cassandra, BigTable, Redis, Neo4j, LLM agents, machine learning models, Datamesh, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Sonarqube, and Datadog.
* Developing powerful and advanced algorithms at the forefront of travel tech innovation, including AI integrations to automate complex business flows.
* Building solutions with high quality through good design, attention to detail, and testing.
* Working with a distributed, scalable microservices platform with high deployment frequency, clean code, SOLID principles, and TDD.
* Collaborating with talented colleagues who will mentor you and help develop your career rapidly.
* Working in a fully agile organization using Kanban practices to deliver continuous value.
* Participating in a high-performing cross-functional team of 7-10 members, including developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists, etc.
* Actively participating in product definition and ideation processes.
* Continuously learning through workshops, hackathons, and community events.
* Owning and monitoring the performance of product and technical OKRs.
* Challenging decisions, being proactive, and seeking to improve technical excellence.

* Excellent understanding of coding fundamentals and strong knowledge of Java and frameworks.
* Solid knowledge of programming principles, including databases, data structures, OOP, SOLID, TDD, concurrency, algorithms, APIs.
* Experience with distributed, concurrent, scalable systems.
* Strong technical problem-solving skills, creativity, and proactivity.
* Experience across the software development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
* Growth mindset, collaboration, communication skills, and technical English proficiency.
* Ability to stay updated on industry trends and apply them.
* Interest in understanding and improving the product.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar.
* Curiosity and eagerness to experiment with AI-driven solutions.
* Ability to leverage AI tools to debug, streamline, and enhance development.
* Adaptability, quick learning, and collaboration with AI as a pair programmer.
