About the team you are joiningReporting to theRegional Director, Distribution and Payments, Europe, the incumbent will beresponsible for leading regional delivery of the Financial Settlement and DistributionServices (FSDS) non - IATA Settlement Systems (ISS) targets. What your day would be likeContribute to the development andachievement of the FSDS business strategy and of IATA's strategic priorities, being accountable for the:Implementation of the Airline Retailing and payment strategy in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SME);Engagement with the central team to report on airlines' pain points, industry trends and opportunities and challenges in Financials, Payments and Distribution;Review of local regulations that may impact IATA's financial initiatives or services, to mitigate risks or foster innovation;Collect and analyze industry feedback to develop new business cases, develop new or existing products, or further develop IATA's resolutions;Run a program of workshops for airlines and travel agents to raise awareness on IATA's activities and ensure a smooth implementation of IATA's Payment and Distribution Projects and support local stakeholder management;Contribute to IATA's financial sustainability by becoming anexpert on several FSDS commercial products; leading the implementation of theBilling and Settlement Plan (BSP) new ISS operations and expansion of theexisting BSP operations; delivering webinars and initiatives to promote IATA'sAccreditation program among non-IATA agents; and leading the modernization ofprograms such as NewGen ISS and Cargo Accounts Settlement Systems (CASS) ;Engage with IATAmembers and non-members, Travel Agents Associations, Payment solutions providersand other key industry stakeholders to ensure their collaboration to thedevelopment and enhancement of the FSDS strategy, while simultaneously ensuringtheir satisfaction with IATA;Management ofinternal stakeholders: partner with internal Senior Management to achieve theregional targets and global strategy, while providing guidance to Area Managerson Payment and Distribution Projects to ensure alignment with the FSDS globalstrategy;Act as a SME andkeep track of developments within airlines and the industry in general, as wellin areas such as Environment and Digitalization;Understand IATA'sbig picture and the Airlines' needs and challenges and how to address them;Coordinate closely with Regional VicePresident (RVP) Office on FDS related matters;Support Regional Director, Distributions andPayments, Europe as requested.
