Key Responsibilities:

Organize and coordinate the sourcing of local suppliers within the cluster countries.

Plan and organize necessary promotions, in coordination with Marketing and Retail Operations, to drive and increase sales. Ensure company margin and contribution targets are met.

Negotiate and follow up on Specific Commercial Terms for local brands.

Structure meetings, agree on a negotiation strategy, and negotiate agreements with suppliers.

Negotiate new projects with local suppliers when agreed with the integral purchasing department to include them in the list.

Follow up on pending issues with suppliers. Respond to and resolve problems with HOB.

Negotiate with local suppliers. Complete requests for new local items.

Plan negotiations with local suppliers, prepare supporting documents and information, and carry out negotiations as approved by the category.

Define and monitor inventory reduction and clearance programs for local brands and products, following global guidelines. Liquidate current inventory of items to be discontinued. Implement approved changes in affected operations and review results.

Monitor and implement action plans to achieve budgeted margins for local manufacturers and brands.

Communicate with the supply chain to place orders for local products (quantities, locations, deadlines). Set prices for local products according to global guidelines.

Enter local promotions in the A&P; tool. Connect with product managers to ensure implementation of pricing and promotions. Complete requests for new promotions.

Ensure local products comply with global guidelines. Participate in store distribution and planograms for local products.

Monitor margins for local products, adhering to global margin policy.

Coordinate and follow up on the development and implementation of promotions. Review and validate promotional calendars.

Analyze the commercial performance of local suppliers, specifically sales, inventory levels, margins, payment terms, and SKU assortment.

Gather relevant information to calculate and send the invoicing amount for A&P; for local products.

Track sales and margin by local brand.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of local products and suppliers and prepare an action plan.

Ensure all contracts comply with Dufry policy and government regulations. Review and optimize performance and stock levels of existing items.

Reporting

Provide excellent exposure of category knowledge to airport authorities and other local stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

* Educational background in Business Administration or related fields
* Proven experience: at least 5 years in a similar role
* Team leadership skills – ability to manage and inspire teams
* Strong commercial negotiation experience – 5+ years in negotiation roles
* Key competencies: effective communication, team management, results orientation, and change management
