Cockpit & Ground Control Systems Engineer
A vacancy for a Cockpit and Ground Control System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join the "Cockpit and Ground Control Systems" department, which is responsible for Displays and Control activities for manned aircraft and Ground Control Station developments for unmanned ones.
This vacancy is specifically devoted to the Ground Control Station team (working on Eurodrone Ground Control Station Infrastructure). Experience in UAVs and Avionics technologies will be valuable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Systems definition for Cockpit and Ground Control Station, including :
* Operational requirements analysis and systems architecture definition.
* Specification of functional and equipment requirements.
* Generation and maintenance of design documentation (e.g., interface control documents, requirements documents, test protocols, etc.).
* Generation of systems specifications.
* High Level Software specifications.
* Integration, validation, and verification tasks of avionics.
* Contribution to Safety and Security analysis, Certification, and Qualification activities.
* Support to Services.
SKILLS
* Degree level in Engineering (Telecommunications, Aerospace, or Information Technology).
* Professional experience within engineering : 5 to 7 years.
* Airworthiness and certification processes experience.
* Embedded SW design and development.
* Model Based System Engineering experience will be valuable.
* Team worker and proactive.
* Highly motivated to learn and do new things.
* Good communication skills and ability to work within an international team.
