In this role you will support automation engineering across mid- to large-scale projects within GEA’s Nutrition Plant Engineering. You’ll work with lead engineers to ensure on-time, quality delivery while maintaining budget and high customer satisfaction. The position is project-based with significant travel and hands-on commissioning, collaborating across cross-functional teams. You will help implement automation standards, contribute to productivity improvements, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance. This is an opportunity to shape automation solutions for global projects in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

• Support automation engineering tasks across multiple projects from contract signing to completion
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, GEA norms, and automation standards
• Document engineering work according to procedures and perform functional analysis
• Coordinate with external suppliers for material procurement and supervise electrical panel assembly and FAT
• Perform equipment IO tests and basic electrical measurements
• Contribute to productivity improvements and innovation in automation/electrical domains
• Maintain safety standards on-site and promote cross-team knowledge sharing
• Provide regular progress reporting to the automation project leader
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Electronics Engineering (Automation / Telecommunication)
• English proficiency (B2/C1); additional languages valued
• Hygienic design know-how; QHSE standards in industries (IAA)
• Mechanical & Electrical engineering know-how; Pneumatics; Electricity; Automation; xpzdshu Control
• PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell) and HMI programming (Siemens, Schneider, Wonderware, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Ignition)
• S88, S95, S101 norms
• Strong written and oral communication; ethics, compliance, professionalism
• Willingness to travel
