We are looking for a
Regional Sales Manager
, based in either Madrid or Barcelona. The assigned sales territory will vary depending on the chosen location.

Job requirements

As a Regional Sales Manager you will be in charge of a team of sales representatives to pursue our growth ambitions in Spain.

You will develop and immediately contribute to the commercial plan in your assigned area by managing and leading your sales team, specially focusing on the development of regional accounts. You will provide the support to identify new accounts and opportunities in the market, on how to build and maintain a relevant network, to raise opportunities, submit the quotes and finally close the deals.

You will look after the well-being of the team and ensure their motivation by guiding them in a daily basis, keeping in touch with them and tracking their activity and their results.

As a regional manager, you will know and follow our processes and become an influencer to implement them among the team. Even more, you will collaborate in the creation of new / improvement of existing processes. As a manager, you will be a key contributor to ensuring effective and positive communication across teams and departments. This position involves working closely with the Spain Sales Manager to achieve commercial objectives.

What are your responsibilities and duties?

* Directly responsible for your team results, which will drive sales growth by developing the commercial plan, acquiring new customers, gaining loyalty of existing ones and following-up on going opportunities.
* Work with and contribute to the performance of marketing activities of BauWatch such as carrying out campaigns, giving company presentations and attending trade fairs.
* Through your team, developing and nurturing new and existing regions, new and existing customers and entering into partnerships; following up commercial opportunities to ensure a lasting bond between the customer and BauWatch.
* Advising the Sales Manager, Managing Director, product management and group management on opportunities and threats in the market and possible adjustment of the commercial strategy based on his own experiences and data collected.

Formal Qualifications

* Sales experience: Senior secondary vocational education with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably managing teams of more than 5 people.

* Happy to travel around Spain: Overnight stays will be required to work along with your team members (paid expenses).

* Experience or interest to visit construction sites:

* Previous experience of work or relationships in the construction industry.

* Technology skills:

* Good knowledge of MS Office programs;

* Preferably experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
* Preferably experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.

* Language skills:

* Native Spanish speaker.

* Conversational English skills for internal communication.

* Driver license: Full, valid driving license.
