Position Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Financial Content Editor to join our Barcelona team and help scale our content operations as we expand across multiple financial verticals.
This is an on-site freelance position where you'll work directly with our team to maintain the editorial standards that differentiate us in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and refine financial reviews, comparison guides, and educational content
- Ensure accuracy of trading terminology, platform features, and financial concepts
- Maintain our editorial voice while upholding zero-bias review standards
- Collaborate with writers to improve content quality and SEO performance
- Fact-check claims about trading conditions, fees, regulations, and platform features
- Optimize content for search visibility while preserving readability
- Help develop style guidelines for financial content across multiple verticals
What We are Looking For
Required:
- Native or near-native English proficiency
- Proven editing experience with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of grammar, style, and content structure
- Ability to work on-site from our Barcelona office
- Comfortable with fast-paced content production cycles
Highly Valued:
- Financial writing or editing experience (forex, crypto, prop trading)
- Familiarity with trading platforms, brokers, or crypto exchanges
- Understanding of SEO best practices for content
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Background in journalism, finance, or related fields
