Job Summary :
The Functional Analyst will collaborate and participating in the implementation configuration and optimization of the LES / LIMS system in laboratories. This role will act as a key liaison between laboratory users technical teams and other stakeholders ensuring that the system meets functional and operational requirements.
What your responsibilities will be :
1. Requirements Analysis
Collaborate with business and laboratory teams to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
Identify gaps and define appropriate solutions for these gaps
2. System Design and Configuration for roll outs
Participate in designing the LES / LIMS system configuring it according to business needs.
Define workflows data structures and processes related to laboratory management.
3. Testing and Validation
Create and execute functional and user test cases (UAT User Acceptance Testing).
Validate that the system complies with regulations and quality standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and 21 CFR Part 11.
4. Training and Support
Train end users on the use of the LES / LIMS system.
Provide functional support during implementation and postimplementation.
5. support some activities related with Project Management and coordination with HQ in Spain
Participate in the planning coordination and monitoring of the implementation project.
Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to ensure system integration with other tools (ERP laboratory instruments etc..
6. Documentation related with projects and maintenance
Develop functional documentation user manuals and procedures related to system use.
Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes through the efficient use of the LES / LIMS system.
Who you are :
Skills / Qualifications / Education Requirements : (To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills education and / or ability required. Work Experience :
Over 3 years of experience implementing LIMS systems (such as Thermofisher Labvantage LabWare STARLIMS SampleManager etc..
Experience in laboratory digital transformation projects.
Prior experience as a functional analyst or LIMS consultant.
Technical Knowledge :
University degree : computer science or similar
Strong understanding of laboratory data management concepts and analytical processes.
Familiarity with LES / LIMSERP integrations MES systems and laboratory devices.
Knowledge of regulations : GLP GMP ISO 17025 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
Experience with SQL databases and reporting tools (Crystal Reports Power BI etc..
Skills :
