Junior Key Account Manager / Sales Administrator
Location: Barcelona, Spain or Mondovì, Italy
Salary: EUR 30,000 - 40,000
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Key Account Manager / Sales Administrator to support our B2B sales team in the automotive sector, specifically in braking pads. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth into a Key Account Manager position. Initially, you will handle back-office and support tasks, gradually taking on more customer-facing responsibilities.
This role is ideal if you are hands-on, eager to learn, and ready to develop a sales-focused career in a dynamic, international environment.
Languages: English is mandatory; German and other EU languages are a strong plus.
Responsibilities
1. Assist Key Account Managers with daily tasks such as data entry and contract management.
2. Coordinate responses to customer inquiries and requests.
3. Process and follow up on orders from OEM and Tier 1 clients.
4. Track delivery times and inventory with supply chain and logistics teams.
5. Communicate proactively with customers about their order status.
6. Participate in meetings with clients: take notes, prepare agendas, and follow up on actions.
7. Analyze and report on customer account performance.
8. Learn key account details to eventually manage them independently.
9. Create sales reports and monitor sales metrics like order accuracy and delivery timelines.
10. Collaborate with marketing on competitive analysis and account planning.
11. Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system.
12. Log interactions, track opportunities, and ensure data accuracy.
13. Stay informed on automotive industry trends and research competitors.
14. Identify potential new opportunities and support marketing and account teams with relevant data.
15. Suggest improvements to sales and customer service processes.
16. Participate in training and shadow experienced Account Managers to develop skills.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
* 1–2 years of experience in sales support or administration, preferably in automotive or manufacturing sectors.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working with numbers and analyzing sales data.
