Technical Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition
Location: St-Malo, Brittany, France, Barcelona Spain or Italy - Hybrid · Full-time
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Western Europe Area Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial growth of specialty products, working closely with clients across the animal nutrition industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand the specialty product portfolio within your region.
Gather and analyze market intelligence (industry trends, technical and competitive insights, regulatory changes, opportunities, risks, growth prospects) to support strategic recommendations for Marketing & Innovation.
Understand client needs and challenges to deliver tailored product solutions.
Serve as the technical expert for your region, supporting and training sales teams to enhance their technical knowledge.
Negotiate agreements and oversee their implementation.
Prospect and secure new business opportunities.
Ensure smooth order processing and client service.
Maintain accurate reporting of activities and market data in the company CRM.
Candidate Profile:
Degree in animal production or related field, with a passion for the sector.
At least 2 years of commercial experience in animal nutrition.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Skilled negotiator with persuasive abilities.
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
