What you will be doing:
As part of our SAS Technical Finance Team you will work together with Product Managers and SAS tech teams, reporting to our Engineering Manger for Core Operations. You will be responsible to evolve, expand, and maintain our SAP RISE and SAP/HANA cloud instances.
You will contribute to expand our current SAP features to new countries, adding new functionality (new accounting events, new integrations, new reports, new validations), and participating E2E from business definition to implementation, validation, rollout, and production support.
We are looking for a SAP ABAP Engineer with a solid background in multiple SAP components, covering both a SAP consultant role to help on features definition and a SAP technical role to own the subsequent implementation. This role requires working and knowledge of SAP RISE, SAP BTP, SAP ABAP, FIORI, BASIS and Cloud Integrator, and SAP standard reports.
Experience:
* Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP language
* Design and implementation of both Default and Z-Reports for Tax Registration processes
* Developing OData services to consume ABAP backend logic in Fiori apps
* Demonstrable experience creating and managing both Local and General Ledger account creation and configuration
* Demonstrable experience managing SAP BTP to create / maintain applications, and integration services
Beneficial experience:
* Experience using modules FI, CO, AA, Basis
* Demonstrable experience with ODB4, FI, FS00 and SU01
* Demonstrable experience managing SAP BTP to create / maintain applications, and integration services
* Knowledge of CDS Views (Core Data Services), AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and Open SQL for HANA optimizations
* Experience with Bank and / or financial industries
* Specific experience in using RISE with SAP Cloud, Private Edition
Responsibilities:
* Define requirements and solutions with Product team.
* Provide estimations and commit to deliver on time and under agreed scope.
* Configure new environments and load master data as needed.
* Execute implementation of new requirements and expand existing functionality to new countries.
* Testing (unit testing, integrated testing, load testing, business UAT, etc).
* Create and update documentation.
* Provide technical and functional support on production, attending service requests and incidents as part of on-call rotations.
* Plan and execute minor and major SAP updates as needed.
* Propose recommendations and adjustments.
* Serve as a SA subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives.
* Adopt and follow SAS Behaviours and Principles, SAS Ways of Working and artifacts/processes
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.

* The vacancies will be fully remote based out of either Spain, Portugal or the Netherlands.
