Cyber Security Engineer, Braine (Belgium), Site Based

About the role:
We are seeking an OT Engineer who play a key role in supporting OT Security BAU team within a
regulated manufacturing environment. The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, align procedures across sites, and contribute to overall cyber security governance. The successful candidate will help drive continuous improvement of OT security controls and processes while ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Support the OT Security BAU team in maintaining and updating documentation related to
cyber security policies, procedures, and standards within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Ensure alignment and harmonization of cyber security procedures across global manufacturing sites.
• Contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of OT security controls, including risk
assessments and control effectiveness reviews.
• Utilize tools such as Veeva or other regulated document management systems to manage
documentation workflows in a GMP-compliant manner.
• Assist in tracking and reporting progress of ongoing cyber security initiatives and ensuring alignment with the company's cyber security framework and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and manufacturing systems
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Automation Engineering, Information Technology, OT Cyber security, or Automation
• A foundational understanding of engineering or IT principles is essential to interpret and apply OT security standards, compliance frameworks, and technical documentation within regulated
manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in OT Cyber security or Automation within GMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with governance processes, SOP development, and regulated documentation systems (e.g., Veeva).
• Familiarity with OT security frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443), network segmentation, and enabling services such as patching, antivirus, and asset inventory.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, IT, and Engineering stakeholders
• The position requires an experienced professional capable of operating independently in a regulated environment, ensuring alignment of OT cyber security controls with quality and
compliance expectations. Proven knowledge reduces onboarding time and enhances the team’s ability to meet global audit and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in documentation lifecycle management
• Experience with GxP and CFR Part 11 compliance
• Strong written communication and process improvement skills
