Overview About Market Star: Market Star is seeking an experienced and highly organized Category Alliances Program Manager to support HP's PS Consumer business by driving the successful execution of global Alliance-sponsored programs. This role sits at the intersection of Global/Market Category, Alliance Marketing, and HP Stores, ensuring that HP's key alliance initiatives are flawlessly activated across markets. You will be part of the global PS Category Alliances organization, focused on translating strategic partner investments into impactful Go-to-Market (GTM) execution across HP's global markets, with primary focus on U. S and Europe. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and operational rigor. Location: Barcelona - Hybrid.
The pay for this position is basic salary per annum of €55,000. Responsibilities Drive end-to-end execution of strategic Microsoft Alliance-sponsored programs across HP's global consumer business.
Manage global program planning cycles, including defining timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
Act as the connective tissue between Alliance teams, Consumer Category at global and market level, Alliance Marketing, and HP Stores stakeholders.
Track, analyze, and report on program performance, ROI, and sales impact across markets.
Coordinate market readiness activities, ensuring alignment on content, sales tools, and enablement assets.
Lead recurring cross-functional check-ins with Sales, Category, Marketing, and Alliance teams to monitor program health and bridge execution gaps.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment across global and market teams to ensure consistent program rollout.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program scalability, visibility, and speed-to-market.
Serve as an escalation point for execution-related challenges across participating markets.
Prepare executive-level program readouts, dashboards, and insights for internal and partner stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Technical Sales, Project Management, or related discipline or commensurate work experience.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in marketing, business, sales, industry, PC/Technology retail, or a related field; advanced degree with 2-4 years of work experience may apply.
Experienced in cross-functional team leadership, including directing virtual teams.
Proficiency in written and verbal English with emphasis on business vocabulary.
Strong program and project management capabilities, including milestone tracking, KPI reporting, and issue resolution.
Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences.
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel; able to create clear, compelling visualizations and summaries for cross-functional and executive audiences.
Familiarity with Alliance or co-funded partner program execution across global markets.
Ability to influence without authority and build alignment across diverse teams.
Highly organized and detail-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Comfortable working across multiple time zones and managing international stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills; able to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
