We are looking to hire a Corporate EHS Expert (m/f/d) atBefesa Medio Ambiente S.L.U in Madrid to join our team and help drive the circular economy globally.
Your tasks:
* Develop and implement corporate safety improvement programs and training initiatives across multiple sites
* Monitor progress on action plans and EHS initiatives, ensuring structured and systematic follow-up
* Lead and support safety improvement projects at plant level
* Participate in corporate EHS audits and provide recommendations for improvement
* Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for corporate leadership
* Provide ad hoc support for safety-related projects and requests
Your profile:
* Degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (engineering background preferred)
* 5+ years’ EHS experience, ideally in multisite manufacturing or metals industries
* Strong project management, coaching, and communication skills
* Experience in multicultural teams and international environments
* English & Spanish (B2+); German and French are a plus.
* Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable with frequent travel
* Availability to travel approx. 30–40%
