Role Summary
The main objective of this position is to support the store management team in creating a store environment that fosters creativity, employee development, and the VIBE philosophy. Maintain Urban Outfitters' philosophy of "Peers Training Peers."
What You'll Be Doing
Gente :
* Offer a positive and friendly experience by engaging customers through conversation and service.
* Enhance the environment by focusing on customers rather than tasks during peak hours.
* Provide a store experience that reflects the company's "mystery shop" standards.
* Contribute to the overall store atmosphere by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others.
* Maintain company standards and act as a positive role model for colleagues.
Trabajo en equipo y comunicación :
* Work productively within the team and take initiative to collaborate towards common goals.
* Assist in training and developing colleagues.
* Communicate positively and effectively with team members.
* Actively participate in daily and departmental meetings.
Operaciones :
* Demonstrate competence in job knowledge (e.g., cash registers, stockroom, sales floor, fitting rooms).
* Participate in order processing and help keep receiving and replenishment areas clean and organized.
* Assist in timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (e.g., sales, tagging, transfers, RTV).
* Be aware of loss prevention guidelines and adhere to all inventory control measures.
* Always comply with company health and safety standards.
Merchandising y Exhibición :
* Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards.
* Ensure merchandise is correctly tagged and displayed, and that the sales floor is well-stocked.
* Support sales through merchandising and display projects.
* Show familiarity with current products and awareness of trends.
What You'll Need
* Previous experience in a retail environment is mandatory.
* Knowledge of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
* Strong communication skills.
