EU Business School is looking to recruit a creative, outgoing community manager with a highly proficient level of English to join its dynamic and international communications’ team based in Barcelona. Reporting to the Digital Content and Social Media Manager, the chosen professional should have a passion for social media and be up for the challenge to take EU’s social media channels to the next level (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
This professional will be tasked with daily posting and answering queries / interacting with followers across all EU social media channels. All posts will be written in English, so this professional must be highly proficient in English (level C1, C2 or native). Together with the Digital Content and Social Media Manager, they will be responsible for creating an attractive, diverse and innovative social media calendar taking into account our different channel and audience needs.
This professional should be proficient in social media metrics and will track results. They will be in charge of the dashboard and, through analysis, should proactively look for new strategies and tactics for engagement and growth.
With a keen visual eye, they will also enjoy design, photography, copywriting and interacting with a young audience. They will be required to create visual content. They will work closely with other members of the communications department, namely video, design and photography, and will also create visual content.
They will also be required to actively work with EU’s student body to onboard influencers and help with events and should enjoy mixing with people from different cultures.
Availability to travel with overnight stays. Attendance of events outside normal working hours.
This is a fully on-site position requiring you to work from our Barcelona office.
Responsibilities
* Create publish and share news of EU Business School activities across all EU’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn).
* Working with the Digital Content and Social Media Manager, create and administer the social media calendar for all EU’s social media accounts, ensuring that posts are attractive, impactful and relevant for the school’s different target audiences.
* Track results and devise strategies and tactics with the Digital Content and Social Media Manager, track.
* Post and answer direct messages daily to interact with the community.
* Create copy in English.
* Engage with influencers, including members of EU’s student body y ambassadors, to help posts go viral to grow EU Business School’s community and increase brand awareness.
* Stay up to date with trends in social media to ensure EU remains engaging and ahead of the curve, while proactively proposing content that resonates with and engages the EU community.
* Attend events to provide live social media coverage (travel may be necessary).
Requirements
* Passion for social media
* A bachelor’s degree (minimum) in digital marketing, social media or equivalent.
* Two years’ experience in community management, social media management or digital marketing
* Excellent knowledge of social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn and Twitter
* Experience of social media management and reporting tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
* Used to working with social media metrics and reporting.
* High-level English writing skills (level C1 / C2, used to working in English or native). All posts, messaging and interaction within the team are carried out in English.
* Design and video skills for content creation.
