* Be able to follow instructions and rules for efficient operation of the kitchen
* Ability to select and use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl, and other food products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items
* Can participate and be trained for the proper preparation of menu items
* Ensure proper receiving, storage (including temperature monitoring) of food products to comply with health department regulations
* Reports directly to the Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine
Skills & abilities:
* Minimum of two years' experience as Demi Chef de Partie in a similar size operation
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand Spanish.
* Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions
* Thorough working knowledge of cold/hot food preparation
Education:
* High school or equivalent education required
* Must possess basic computational ability
