The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global Enterprise Architect who can represent the Enterprise Architecture authority for Finance, IARIC, and Legal and Integrity domains. In this role you will design and support the alignment of IT solutions with Hitachi Energy’s business goals, developing, planning, driving, expediting, documenting, and communicating the global Enterprise Architecture. You will ensure that all domain IT components fit together from a technical and business perspective, leveraging new technology developments. The position requires problem‑solving, communication skills, and the ability to provide IT strategy approaches for portfolio leadership and other impacted teams.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Architect: Develop IT policies, standards and guidelines that steer the selection, development, implementation and use of IT applications and technologies. Supervise and facilitate the evaluation and selection of appropriate solutions and provide guidance on architecture implementation and modification activities.
* Best practice & Knowledge sharing: Proactively analyze industry and market trends, evaluate their potential impact, and bring learning into Hitachi Energy to shape future architecture and strategic direction.
* IT Strategy: Design and lead implementation of the Enterprise Architecture and roadmap aligned to business requirements, identifying opportunities and gaps.
* Processes: Support evaluation of business capabilities, map them with applications, drive innovation, and participate in domain councils.
* Governance: Participate in process councils, drive the architecture process and outcomes with stakeholders, and manage expectation and requirements closely.
* Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business managers, IT Service Managers, domain architects, solution architects, and suppliers to manage expectations and requirements.
Your Background
* 10+ years of experience with finance and audit application development & management (SAP S4, Tagetik, Blackline, analytics tools).
* Strong architectural framework knowledge (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF) and experience with Enterprise Application tools such as ServiceNow CMDB, SAP LeanIX, Orbus.
* Experience translating business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions.
* Strategic thinking and business acumen aligned with digital transformation.
* Soft skills: communication, collaboration, leadership, adaptability, continuous learning.
* Fluent English and strong communication with senior management and international experience.
